The shared-inventory rules below were introduced in v1.008. The v1.009 station and container fixes add relevant context; the newer notes publish no replacement shared-capacity table.
Quick answer
In v1.008, ingredients placed in one Pizza Station can be used by Pizza Chefs working at another Pizza Station. This is shared station inventory, not a claim that every storage object in the restaurant is global.
Requirements
Update to v1.008 or later and use Pizza Stations with assigned Pizza Chefs. The official notes do not document a separate toggle.
How to use it
- Place supported ingredients into a Pizza Station.
- Assign Pizza Chefs to the stations that need to work.
- Watch staff messages for an ingredient that is missing or cannot be stored.
Capacity note
The official patch says perks from level 4 Pizza Chefs working at stations increase shared inventory capacity. It does not provide a complete numeric capacity table.
Common mistakes
Do not assume shelves, refrigerators, trays, and every other storage object share the same pool. That broader behavior is not stated in the source.
